Tea At Mrs. Davenport’s

Each year I look forward to learning more about history and traditions and one of my favorite Savannah programs is Tea At Mrs. Davenport’s!

Tea at Mrs. Davenport's

March means it’s time to make time to visit Davenport House Museum on Columbia Square.  Learn about tea traditions and experience an early 19th century tea in the historic atmosphere of the Isaiah Davenport House Museum. Patrons will tour areas of the historic home where tea service took place and will participate in an afternoon tea with costumed interpreters.  The performance requires that guests be able to walk up and down stairs and it’s a wonderful opportunity to see this extraordinary house. Who’s ready to Rock ‘n’ Roll!  The second annual Rock ‘N’ Roll Savannah Marathon and 1/2 Marathon is a wonderful way to really get into the vibe of the Hostess City.

Who's Ready To Rock 'N' Roll!

Come run to the beat of rock, country, jazz and the blues.  No matter your flavor, the beat goes on in Savannah.  Post race, there’s even a free concert to celebrate your run with your friends and family.  Make plans to stay the weekend because with all the running and dancing, you’ll need to eat your share of low country cuisine to stay up to the beat!

Who's Ready To Rock 'N' Roll!

Registration online is easy, but you do need to hurry.  Also, be sure to bring your children to join in the KIDS ROCK fun run, too!  If you are in need of last-minute supplies, Fleet Feet Sports is the best source for custom fit running shoes.  A fun run always begins with the right shoes!

Who's Ready To Rock 'N' Roll!

Run, walk or stroll and feel the beat.  Savannah is rocking out for the Rock ‘N’ Roll Savannah Marathon and 1/2 Marathon and you’re invited! Who’s ready to Rock ‘N’ Roll!
